What We Do
DV Aviation advises owners on all functions necessary for their aircraft — operations, maintenance, and administration. We negotiate with vendors using the volume buying power of the DVA fleet, oversee all operating costs on behalf of the owner, and provide direct access to our executive team including bi-annual owner meetings.
Most management companies use an industry-standard 85/15 revenue split. We don't. DV Aviation uses an hourly-based model that's more transparent and owner-friendly. You always know what you're paying for. No hidden fees, no surprise surcharges. Just honest, itemized pricing tied to your aircraft's actual usage.
Place your aircraft on our FAA Part 135 certificate and let your asset generate revenue when you're not flying. We handle crew scheduling, maintenance, dispatch, insurance, hangar coordination, and compliance — so you can enjoy ownership without the operational weight.
Five Pillars of Management
Market value tracking, dispatchability reports, and semi-annual owner meetings.
Continuous airworthiness, inspections, AOG support, and cleanliness programs.
Dispatch, crew scheduling, concierge services, and flight following.
Training, certifications, duty/rest tracking, and performance oversight.
Financial reporting, tax documentation, and vendor payment management.
Pillar 1
Your aircraft is a significant asset. We treat it like one. DV Aviation provides semi-annual and annual client reporting that gives you complete visibility into your aircraft's performance, value, and operational status.
Reports include market value trends using Vref, Conklin & de Decker, JSSI, Aircraft Bluebook, and broker opinions of value. We track dispatchability — days requested versus days used, cancellations, delays, and corrective actions taken. Engine and propeller hours, cycle counts, overhaul timelines, and MSP/ESP program usage are all monitored and reported. We also review your management agreement annually, with recommendations for updated lease numbers, lessee agreements, and rates.
Pillar 2
Our CAP ensures your aircraft is always dispatch-ready. We continuously track inspection programs and life-limited components, schedule all inspections and modifications to comply with FAA regulations, and monitor every warranty, parts, and engine program to ensure you receive maximum benefit.
We handle all FAA communications and compliance on aircraft issues, so you don't have to.
Through our network of providers nationwide, we secure competent technicians to handle any situation away from home base.
We advise on equipment and modifications that enhance performance, utility, or aesthetics — avionics, paint, interior, and service bulletins.
Exterior washing and waxing, brightwork polishing, ice boot care, interior leather conditioning, carpet cleaning, and cockpit detailing.
Pillar 3
Every flight is coordinated through our operations team — owner flights, lessee flights, ferry, training, and maintenance flights. We maintain an online calendar for scheduling and provide high-level, white-glove concierge services for every trip.
Our dispatch team ensures the aircraft is fully operational and positioned for departure at the scheduled time. We provide weather briefings, arrange security, landing permits, handling, storage, and catering. Ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and trip documentation are coordinated on request. Flight following and communication services are provided for every flight, with a centralized point of contact for all aircraft needs away from home base.
Pillar 5
We handle the financial and administrative complexity of aircraft ownership so you can focus on flying.
Payment submission for all aircraft-related bills — fuel, ramp fees, hangar rent, airframe and engine support contracts, maintenance costs, and flight phone. We record and administer all revenue under any lease, time-sharing, or interchange agreement, and provide full accounting for maintenance charges.
We monitor and report flight activity for aircraft acquisition tax strategies, prepare utilization reports for sales tax reporting, assist with federal excise tax returns, and provide ad valorem tax data at year-end. Original copies of all operating costs are maintained for a minimum of three years and available for owner audit.
Coordination of ongoing drug and alcohol testing programs, pre-employment screening for replacement personnel, crew salary and benefits management, trip expenses, and training cost administration.
