Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: April 25, 2026

DV Aviation, LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to our website and digital services.

1. Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

The DV Aviation website at dvaviation.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

2. Measures Taken to Support Accessibility

DV Aviation takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of dvaviation.com:

  • Accessibility is part of our design and development process.
  • The site is keyboard navigable, including a "Skip to main content" link, visible focus indicators, and a hamburger menu that closes on Escape.
  • All interactive controls meet a minimum 48-pixel touch-target size on mobile.
  • Form inputs have associated labels, required fields are marked both visually and programmatically (aria-required), and validation errors are announced via ARIA live regions.
  • Page heading structure follows a logical hierarchy without level skips.
  • Body text is at least 16 pixels on mobile to prevent forced zoom on iOS, and color contrast meets the WCAG AA ratio of 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text.
  • Active page is indicated programmatically via aria-current="page".
  • The site honors users' prefers-reduced-motion setting and disables non-essential animation when requested.

3. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, the following limitations may exist:

  • Third-party content. Embedded content from external services (such as Instagram thumbnails) is provided by those services and may not meet our accessibility standards.
  • Hero background imagery. Decorative photographs sit behind text overlays. Where text contrast in any localized region falls below the WCAG AA ratio, this is treated as a known issue and remediation is planned in future design passes.
  • AI Concierge chat widget. The chat experience supports keyboard input and screen-reader announcement of incoming messages, but message threading and live transcript navigation may not be optimal in all assistive technologies.
  • PDFs and downloadable documents. Operational and regulatory PDFs published on the site may not meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Accessible alternatives are available on request — see "Feedback" below.
  • Real-time content. Status indicators that update without a page refresh (e.g., chat availability) are announced once on page load and may not re-announce on subsequent updates.

4. Compatibility With Browsers and Assistive Technology

The DV Aviation website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Recent versions of VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
  • Recent versions of NVDA and JAWS on Windows
  • Recent versions of TalkBack on Android
  • Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • Keyboard-only navigation

The site is tested on the latest two major versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge on desktop, and Safari and Chrome on iOS and Android.

5. Technical Specifications

Accessibility of dvaviation.com relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:

  • HTML5
  • WAI-ARIA
  • CSS
  • JavaScript

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

6. Assessment Approach

DV Aviation assessed the accessibility of dvaviation.com using the following approaches:

  • Self-evaluation. Internal review against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA.
  • Automated testing. Page-level scans run on every release covering heading hierarchy, label association, alt-text presence, color contrast, focus visibility, and ARIA attribute usage.
  • Manual testing. Keyboard-only navigation passes, mobile touch-target verification, and form validation behaviour.

Real screen-reader passes (VoiceOver, NVDA) are conducted as part of major release cycles and quarterly re-audits.

7. Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the DV Aviation website. If you encounter accessibility barriers, or if there is information you need in an alternative format, please contact us:

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days. If your inquiry is time-sensitive (for example, you cannot complete a booking), please call so we can assist you directly.
