Our Missions

From West Texas to the world: DV Aviation’s passion for Christian Missions

DV Aviation was founded on the passion to turn our resources into blessings for others. One of our core missions is using our talents and opportunities to spread Gospel culture to our business, our homes, our nation, and to other continents.

Our team comes with unique backgrounds and current commitments to missions, which we bring together to form the whole Christian missions mosaic at DV Aviation.

BUSINESS • FAMILY • THE NATIONS

Russell Maxey

As long as he can remember, Russell Maxey has wanted to fly. He feels called to use his knowledge of and love for aviation to help others. Russell mentors missionary pilot trainees and invests himself in various missionary aviation organizations, such as AIM Air. He also supports Fundacion Suenos, YWAM, and other missionary organizations, especially those that focus on unreached people groups. Locally, Russell enjoys being a member of Stonegate Fellowship and drives for Meals on Wheels as often as possible.

Jake Griffith

Jake has always had an interest in aviation combined with a passion for biblical studies and education. He appreciates the opportunity to support several Mission Aviation Fellowship families in addition to many other ministries and missionaries. Jake flew in Africa with the intention of full-time service with MAF before being led to Midland, TX. He is active in his church and is excited about building bridges between the local corporate aviation community and global mission opportunities.

Jonathan Tack

Jonathan Tack is our Chief Pilot and has gravitated toward airplanes and business travel for as long as he can remember. His early flight instructing years, landed him the privilege of teaching students who would become missionary aviators. Currently he gives to two missionary pilot families, and of course aspires to do more. In the past, Jonathan has interned at Missionary Maintenance Services in Ohio and Kingdom Air Corps in Alaska. His calling is to send and to hold up in prayer those who use their technical talents to be Gospel witnesses around the world.
